Da ruína foi mantida e reforçada a estrutura em alvenaria de pedra, a sua implantação e orientação, a cércea e a disposição dos vãos, dos quais tivemos a necessidade de unir alguns da fachada nascente, para um melhor enquadramento paisagístico e ligação visual com o novo volume. A ampliação surge dos alinhamentos com a ruína existente. Toda a construção funciona como uma só, fundindo-se uma peça na outra, assim como no seu meio envolvente, enquadrando-se com o terreno inclinado e de vasta vegetação no qual se insere.​

        From the ruin was maintained and reinforced the structure in stone masonry, its implantation and orientation, the cercea and the layout of the windows, of which we had the need to join some of the nascent façade, for a better landscape and visual connection with the new volume. Enlargement comes from alignments with existing ruin. The whole construction works as one, merging one piece in the other, as well as in its surroundings, fitting with the inclined terrain and vast vegetation in which it is inserted.
